I have concluded with this, and much other public information available, that, among other reasons, American sovereignty is vital to our National Defense (with a Big ‘N’ and a Big ‘D’). Furthermore, “One World Government,” such as the UN’s current attempts at assuming exceedingly more and more power, could also deny you your sacred Bill of Rights in the US Constitution. This notion of a world union cannot be allowed to replace the ideals of the American Republic.
Additionally, I just heard Attorney General Eric Holder’s comments in an April 24th speech to the Mexican American Legal Defense and Attorney General Eric Holder said that creating a “pathway to earned citizenship” was a “civil right.”
"Creating a pathway to earned citizenship for the 11 million unauthorized immigrants in this country is essential. The way we treat our friends and neighbors who are undocumented – by creating a mechanism for them to earn citizenship and move out of the shadows – transcends the issue of immigration status. This is a matter of civil and human rights. It is about who we are as a nation. And it goes to the core of our treasured American principle of equal opportunity." My Answer to Attorney General Holder’s incorrect, most unpatriotic remark, which turns my beloved America on her head:
US Citizenship is not a civil right! It is a sacred privilege that should be held in the highest regard by all who hold it. It should never be taken for granted or simply “handed out” to everyone.
People not born here in the United States of America,only deserve to stay in America and actually be called “Americans” if they can be trusted with all of the civic responsibilities and legal duties of citizenship. Let us also not forget that there is also a status known as “Alien Resident”,and no„I am not talking about Martians or beings from outerspace. This is someone who is legally residing here, but does not hold American citizenship. But, as Eric Holder states, even an Alien from another planet would have American citizenship!
But,in order to be bestowed the sacred privilege of American citizenship, immigrants must go through a rigorous application process. They need to enter the country legally; if not, they have already broken the law and should be treated as criminals., Those who break the law ought to be either jailed or deported depending on the particular circumstance…Eric Holder admits that his idea is that the “unauthorized” are actually “authorized”! Before even entering this country, foreign nationals need to have a complete background check, including,inter alia, whether they have ever broken the law, all of their social and familial affiliations, schools attended, and jobs held.. Then„after entering the country with full permission from the US Federal Government,(and their own country of origin), they need to stay here for a specific period of time; let’s say 5 years.,They’ll need to pass that examination with a reasonably high score; I say 80% is probably a good minimum score..They US Citizenship Examination,must contain questions on civics, values, ethics and morals. Next„they must be approved by the United States Federal Government. If all of these measures are passed “with flying colors” they may finally be sworn in under oath.They also must say the Pledge of Allegiance to The Flag of the United Statesof America standing up straight with their hand over their heart (unless physically unable to stand because of permanent disability).. These candidates must swear they will promise to be good, to behave properly, and as expected by the most civilized nation ever created.
Only then should former non-citizens be rewarded with the title of “American”. Citizenship. This is The United States of America.. Not The United States of the World..There is no such thing as a Citizen of the World. While I always aim to make the world a better place, taken as a whole, it can certainly be a scary place. America should be kept safe and sound, with all of the historical ideals and values of the Founding Fathers that make it the greatest place on Earth.
Dinesh D’Souza said recently, “America is the only country founded upon an idea.”:. As Americans, we have freedom, liberty and justice for all. Equality here means equality of opportunity, not equality of results. (The latter is a Marxist or Communist concept)..
Let’s work to keep “America” America!. Save the United States of America from foreign encroachments, understand what it means to be an American and cherish our rights, freedoms and values granted by God and the US Constitution..
